We offer Reserve Now, Pay Later booking for your convenience. Your spot will be held and confirmed even without immediate payment. Payment is due prior to the start of your tour unless otherwise noted in your booking confirmation.
Ketchikan is one of Alaska’s most visited cruise destinations, and our private tours fill up fast. Early booking is strongly recommended to secure your preferred date and time.
We provide full, penalty-free cancellations up to 24 hours before your tour start time, based on Ketchikan local time (Alaska Time Zone).
Cancellations made within the 24-hour window, or no-shows, may be charged the full tour amount.
Typical tours run approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.
Duration may vary slightly depending on weather, tides, wildlife activity, and traffic conditions.
All tours are conducted in English.
Tours are delivered as a mobile ticket — simply show your booking confirmation on your phone at check-in.
Ketchikan is a rainforest environment with rapidly changing weather. Tours operate rain or shine, and appropriate attire is recommended.
While wildlife sightings are common and often abundant, we cannot guarantee encounters with specific animals.
For the safety of all guests:
Follow guide instructions at all times.
Do not approach wildlife.
Remain in designated safe areas during stops.
We reserve the right to remove any guest whose behavior is unsafe or disruptive, without refund.
We strive to provide accessibility where possible. However, some tour locations may include uneven terrain, stairs, or natural surfaces. Please contact us in advance with any mobility concerns so we can accommodate you.
By participating in a tour, guests acknowledge inherent risks associated with outdoor activities, wildlife environments, and transportation. 5 Star Tours Ketchikan is not responsible for:
Injuries resulting from unsafe behavior or failure to follow guide instructions
Lost, stolen, or damaged personal items
Delays caused by weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances
To respect all guests and maintain schedule integrity, tours depart at the scheduled time. If you arrive late and miss the tour, it may be considered a no-show.
We make every reasonable effort to return guests to their ship on time. We are not liable for missed departures resulting from port changes, early ship departures, or circumstances outside our control.
